OLIVER WAHLSTROM
After growing up in Maine, Wahlstrom spent two years each at Shattuck St. Mary School and the United States National Team Program. His first season in the USA program, Wahlstrom won a Gold Medal in the 2017U-18 World Championship. The next season, Wahlstrom’s NHL draft year, he scored 94 points in 62 games for Team USA leading him to be selected 11th overall by the New York Islanders. After a season at Boston College, Wahlstrom signed with the Islanders and made his NHL debut on October 14, 2019 as a 19 year old. Known for his hard accurate shot, skill, strength and goal scoring ability, Wahlstrom is a prototypical pro-style player whose game fits in the NHL.
