Scott Darling
Scott Darling has had a remarkable career. After leaving the University of Maine, the 6-6 goalie played on 19 different teams in 4 leagues (SPHL, ECHL, AHL and the NHL). Unrelenting in his pursuit of playing in the NHL, Darling signed with his hometown Blackhawks on July 1, 2014 and made the team out of training camp. He won his NHL debut beating Ottawa at the United Center 2-1 on October, 26, 2014. The goaltending tandem of Corey Crawford and Darling helped the Blackhawks win the 2015 Stanley Cup, a dream come true for a lifelong Blackhawk fan and Illinois native.
