EMPOWERING PLAYERS TO MAXIMIZE THEIR ABILITIES

As WIN Hockey’s Director of Player Development and Recruitment, Ian Moran is in charge of finding, developing and empowering players to maximize their abilities. Ian is an exceptional communicator who—having played at all levels of the game—can relate to the journey young players are taking. He gets to know every player on and off the ice while implementing a development plan tailored to an individual’s needs. A 6th round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Ian figured out how to make himself into an NHL player outworking others to emerge in 1995 on the great Penguin teams with Lemieux, Jagr and Stevens. He never took his position on the team for granted and played parts of 12 seasons in the NHL. Since playing, his passion has been helping young players develop through his skill sessions and his years of wisdom. A man with a great sense of humor, his social media presence through @IMHockeyskills is a must follow for players and parents everywhere.
