Known as one of the NHL’s fastest skaters, Nate Schmidt has evolved into the #1 defenseman for the Vegas Golden Knights, After an All American career at the University of Minnesota, Schmidt signed an a Unrestricted Free Agent with the Washington Capitols in 2013. Establishing himself as a steady presence on the Washington blue line, Vegas choose Schmidt in the 2017 Expansion Draft. Played in all situations for the Golden Knights, Nate’s game took off leading to his life changing 6 year contract in 2018. Currently Nate plays for the Winnipeg Jets.
